Welcome! Interim Innsitting is a professional service that you cannot afford NOT to have.

Choose a husband and wife team who retired in August 2006 after 12 years experience running a seven bedroom B&B. Love of people and enthusiasm for the business of innkeeping are special assets.

Our mission is to travel, meet new people and to utilize the knowledge and skills gained from establishing a successful B&B and several B&B Associations.

Our vision is to work collaboratively with innkeepers to service their needs and to continue and/or promote the growth of their business.

History of "About Innkeeping"

In 1994 Donna and Jim purchased an 1835 building in the centre of the village of Ellicottville, New York, an hour south of Buffalo and the Canadian border.

Using their past knowledge and skills, Donna and Jim renovated and opened up one of the first B&Bs in the area and brought it to a consistent occupancy level of 1000+ room-nights per year with 40% of annual revenue being from repeat guests.

In August 2006, they sold the Inn and returned to live just northeast of Toronto to be nearer to family.

Interim Innsitting preserves the health and relationships of innkeepers by giving needed time away and provides uninterrupted occupancy and therefore revenue.
